Hi!  I am Yotsuba.  I live with my father, Mr. Koiwai.  I am five year old girl.  

I have a very kind neighbor, the the Ayase family.  They are Asagi, Fuuka and Ena.  They are my friends.  They said that I am energetic, cheerful, curious, odd, and quirky.  So odd and quirky so that father even calls me strange.  I hate that…

I am also initially ignorant about many things, such as doorbells, escalators, air conditioners, and even playground swings.  I frequently misunderstand, everyday things.  I am gonna tell you my daily voyage of discovery.
